Crochet Afghan with Ridges

Individual panels are worked and then crocheted together for this 38 x 60 inch afghan.

To widen panels, chain a number of stitches divisible by five and then add four more, increasing the number of pattern ridges worked. There are four stitches between each pattern stitch, as well a at either end of each panel. The length of each panel is determined by the number of pattern rows worked. The border can be increased or decreased accordingly.

For this 38 x 60 inch you need:

  • 3 oz skeins of 4 ply worsted weight yarn in 12 skeins color A and four skeins color B.
  • Size I crochet hook or size to obtain gauge.

Repeat Row 2 two more times, working 4 complete afghan st rows.
